Dança Contemporânea Juvenil

A Dança Contemporânea surgiu na década de 50, como forma de rompimento com a cultura clássica. Contudo, é na década de 80 que se define e desenvolve uma linguagem própria (embora com influências do Ballet). A Dança Contemporânea é a liberdade de expressão do bailarino, na medida em que não existem mecanismos definidos, apenas processos e formas de criação. Neste sentido, o bailarino assume um papel mais autónomo e interventivo na coreografia.
